hey fam, thought i would add a few things i took during the thanksgiving break.

this is when we got somewhat dressed up to see Wicked. i would highly recommend it, so funny. I also thought the signs of "no standing" were quite funny, instead of "no parking" signs. the last photo is us on the airplane at the beginning of our adventure. hope you are all doing well. can't wait to see you in a few weeks.

NEW YORK CITY!!!

here are a few pictures of my awesome trip to new york. you should all go it was so fun. a few pictures we were on the staton island ferry that went passed the statue of liberty. i also went to the Met museum, and of course a picture before we jumped on the subway.

Sarah's Party Pics and others

It has been a good month. Sarah had her third birthday and Samantha turned six months old. She weighed in at 14 lbs. 8 oz at her doctor visit and had a good check up. Jacob takes good care of his sisters and we are adjusting to a new baby in the family. All the kids got their flu immunizations last Thursday--what an ordeal! We had to promise a treat at the store if they would hold still and then all three cried and cried after it was over. Now we just have to go back for the second dose of their immunization in six weeks.

My Chunky little Girl!!!

Olivia is now 2 and 1/2 months old, and weighing in at almost 13 lbs. and 24 1/2 in. (Owen was that tall at 6 months old). She is so much fun, and smiles at almost anything. Owen is so good with her, and whenever she cries he is always asking if she is okay, (Even when he is the one to make her cry.) Oh every mom needs a little girl.

One of our highlights in California was taking a tram up to the highest point of the mountain. It was a bit scary, but it was so pretty up there. The weather also dropped about 20 degrees. Owen just laid on Grandpa's shoulder the whole way up, and kept saying I want to go home, and sweet Olivia just slept through the whole thing.

We went to Palm Desert last week with my family. We had so much fun! Here is Owen and Crazy Aisy swimming in the hot tub. I was to big of a Chicken to swim in the cold pools. So I think I got Owen hooked on swimming in the hot tub. Whenever we would go he would say "Mom I only want to go in the hot one."

Me and Chris were so lucky to be able to attend his 10 year highschool reunion. I had a blast! I don't think I have ever seen so many drunk people in my life, they sure were fun to talk to. Here is a cute picture of him and all of his friends. Wow 10 years really does make a difference. Look how much Chris has grown up!

Olivia Jane Burton

Here our some cute pictures of our new arrival, Olivia Jane Burton. Born August 6 at 10:17 p.m. weighing a whopping 7 lbs. 10 oz.

Pictures of Chris and Julie's new roof

Check out the roof on this one. This is where Santa will squeeze in.



This one kind of gives you an idea of where the roof fits in on the whole house.
As you can see it sits on the top. Julie says it's to keep the rain
out but Chris says it's to keep the sun out. I know it's not as
exiting as the other pictures but we all need to know just how the
roof is integrated into the building.



Alright, back to the good pictures. Here we see the sun being blocked by
the roof. Looks like Chris might be onto something.



Isn't this just incredible? The roof is so beautiful and brown and
has those little lines.

Whoops! we can see the archway of the garage and a little bit of the
light in this picture. Should've cropped that out.

I don't know about you guys but this makes me want to drive straight
to Lehi to get a real life look at this wonderful rooftop in living color!
