As most of you know, I went to Chicago last month. Here are some pictures of us on the lake, the city from the Hancock observatory, and some animals for jacob's sake. As you can tell, it was a gorgeous day.

Mom & Dad in AZ

Here is some pictorial proof that Mom and Dad came out to AZ. Unfortunately, we don't have pics of Hunter attacking Dad in the pool. We had lots of fun and can't wait for them to come back.

Mt Biking South Mountain, AZ

As most of you know, Katie came out to see Julien and us last month. We had a great time and pretty sure she had an equally great time.

We started by filling the FJ before the epic ride through the treacherous desert.

Katie ended with like 12 hours of sleep after the ride. We couldn't wake her. I guess the ride was a bit tougher than expected.

How does this look for Thanksgiving dinner Thursday?

I can smoke a 12-14lb turkey in 3 hours. No stuffing, though. What do you think? Maybe a little BBQ rub on there with some apple wood. Mmmm-mmm!

Christmas gift exchange.

There has been a bit of confusion on the christmas gift exchange. My idea was to instead of give gifts to eachother we use that money to donate to a family who could use it. I said $25 just as a thought but anyone could donate how much or little they wanted. Some people still wanted to give gifts to eachother, but ultimately my idea was to lesson the money we spend and give all that we can to a family in need. So let me know your thoughts, so we can figure this out.
