The Weber Smokey Mountain Cooker
We used the barbecue today for the first time. I'm talking about real barbecue - I cooked three racks of ribs for six hours. They were ... comment dit-on ... magnifique et bombastique. (That's french for 'the best ribs in the universe') We've got a couple of chickens in line for this tuesday. I think I might do a chili-lime for one. By the way, if any of you know someone with some cherry wood, apple wood, or oak lying around, please let me know. I'll make it worth your while (recompense to be paid in barbecue). Sorry, I didn't take any pictures of the ribs to post, but believe me, they were ... fantastique.

The chicken turned out super. We ate half of one for dinner and made chicken noodle soup with another half. Smokey soup is pretty delish.
