After tonight's discussion it's pretty clear that there's not enough common ground to make a trip like this worthwhile for everyone. So we're just going to go camping on our own and not worry about trying to make it work for everybody. We're not mad at anyone so don't take it personal. We'll let you know when we're going if anybody else wants to come along.
That's too bad...I thought we had come to somewhat of a good compromise. You and Emily sure seemed mad last night...sorry it didn't work out. :( Sorry if we were the cause of the disruption in plans. We were more than willing to go hiking and do other things...we just didn't want to camp for 4 days.
ReplyDeleteLike I said, we're not mad at anyone about the trip. We just want to go camping for 4 days. We love being with everyone but this type of trip would just lead to frustration for everybody I think since we all have such different opinions about what is fun and not fun. I guess it's one of those 'agree to disagree' things so why keep trying for something that would most likely cause bad feelings in the family.
